TickCanvas Privacy Policy
TickCanvas respects your privacy. The current version does not provide an account system and does not actively upload your photos, Live Photos, DIY content, or exported works to the developer's servers.
1. Developer Information
TickCanvas is provided and maintained by developer Zugang Song. For privacy questions, please contact 474018707@qq.com.
2. How the Current Version Handles Data
The current version does not require account registration and does not collect account identity information such as your name, phone number, contacts, government ID, or social media account.
To provide clock creation, widgets, weather, and export features, the app may process the following information on your device:
- Photos or Live Photos that you choose to import as clock backgrounds or creative materials.
- DIY brush strokes, stickers, text, weather widgets, clock styles, and project settings that you create in the app.
- Background images, Live Photos, exported images, exported Live Photos, and DIY content saved locally by you.
- Local data used to save project state, widget snapshots, membership state, feature usage counts, and in-app purchase unlock state.
- Purchase, subscription, and refund information handled by Apple when membership or standalone in-app purchases are processed through Apple StoreKit.
3. System Permissions
TickCanvas may request the following system permissions:
- Photo library access: used to let you choose a photo or Live Photo as a background or creative material.
- Photo library add access: used to save exported images or Live Photos to your system photo library.
- Location access: used by the weather feature to show weather information based on your location. If you deny location access, the weather feature may be unavailable or may require another supported method.
If you deny a permission, the related import, save, or weather feature may not work, but other local creation features can still be used.
4. Local Storage, App Group, and Widget
Your clock works, background images, Live Photos, DIY content, and export records are mainly stored locally on your device. To let the widget display necessary content, the app may use local storage and App Group storage to save project state and widget snapshots.
The current version does not provide account login, server backup, or cross-device sync. After you uninstall the app, iOS usually removes app-managed local data, and DIY content, Live Photos, images, or widget snapshots saved inside the app may not be recoverable.
5. What We Do Not Do
- We do not currently provide an account system.
- We do not currently upload your photos, Live Photos, DIY content, or exported works to the developer's servers.
- We do not collect bank card numbers, payment accounts, or full payment credentials ourselves.
- We do not read contacts, microphone data, health data, or other information unrelated to the current features.
- We do not build developer-side account profiles based on your creative content.
6. Third-Party Services
Membership and standalone in-app purchases are provided through Apple StoreKit and the App Store account system. Your purchase, refund, and subscription management information is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy and terms. TickCanvas does not process your full payment information itself.
The weather feature may rely on iOS location capabilities and weather-related data services. Availability may be affected by system settings, network status, regional support, or third-party service rules.
If you contact the developer by email, your email address and message content will be used to respond to your request.
7. Sharing and Public Disclosure
The current version does not actively upload your creative content to the developer's servers and the developer does not actively publish your works. If you choose to share exported works through the system share sheet, photo library, social platforms, or other services, those platforms may process your content under their own rules.
8. Information Security
We use reasonable efforts to protect your data through iOS sandboxing, local storage mechanisms, App Group permission boundaries, and Apple platform capabilities. However, no system, device, or local storage method can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Please keep your device safe and export or back up important works when needed.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
You can modify or delete some creative content in the app, and you can uninstall the app to remove most app-managed local data handled by iOS. Because iOS and App Group storage behavior may vary, the actual deletion result depends on system behavior.
For purchase records, subscription status, refunds, and App Store account data, please manage them through your Apple ID, App Store purchase history, or Apple subscription settings.
10. Children's Privacy
Minors should obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using TickCanvas. If a parent or guardian believes there is a privacy or payment issue involving a minor, they may contact the developer using the email address in this policy.
11. Policy Updates
If a future version adds accounts, cloud sync, developer servers, advertising, analytics, or other data processing that affects privacy, we will update this Privacy Policy and make it available in the app or on this page.
12. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or personal information handling, please contact 474018707@qq.com.
